Pregnancy Special Testing

There are several testing options for each of the trimesters in your pregnancy. Some or all of these tests may be discussed with you by your doctors.

Genetic Testing

There are a variety of genetic testing options available and it is continuously changing. Your doctor will discuss the available genetic options that are best suited for you and your baby.

3-D/4-D Ultrasound

Anyone wishing to have a 3-D/4-D ultrasound, this will be done between 26-30 weeks and is the responsibility of the patient to schedule as this is an option test and is not covered by insurance.

Pregnancy with Asthma

Four our pregnant patients with asthma that are on medications, you will be seen in the office every week starting at 32 weeks.  This visit will consist of a Bio-physical profile (BPP) ultrasound that will assess the grown and movement of the baby.

Pregnancy with High Blood Pressure

Pregnant patients that have high blood pressure will be seen more frequently in our office as well.

Pregnancy with Twins

Pregnant mothers gestating twins will have an ultrasound at every visit as this is the only way to assess fetal heart beat on two babies
