Job Description
Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To
- Acknowledge and greet every person that enters office with eye contact and a smile
- Register/check in every patient coming for an appointment
- New Patients: enter information into PrimeSuite
- Scan and copy Insurance card, Driver’s License, all patient forms into Patient record
- Established patients, update all information. Scan and copy current Insurance card and Driver’s License
- Verify any previous balances and process all required payments/ copayments
- Answer phones
- Triage each phone call – forward to appropriate extension as needed
- Make appointments following correct scheduling protocols
- Answer questions according to All Women OB/GYN protocols
- Check out all patients – schedule appointments, prepare lab slips, verify all upcoming appointments with patient
- Maintain copies of all forms
- Send new patient paperwork to all new patients
- Scan all documents into appropriate patient record
- Process all faxes
- Maintain mail, accept and sign for any deliveries
Additional Responsibilities May Include
- Know and be able to provide clear and accurate directions to the office
- Perform accurate data entry
- Maintain front desk area in an organized fashion, keeping free of all food, drink, debris and trash
- Verify patient appointment reminder call log
- Maintain waiting room, tv, and “kids area”
- Be knowledgeable of care and treatment standards and appointment types
- Adhere to office policies and procedures as described in Employee Manual
